Designed by World Ocean Champion Oscar Chalupsky and Olympic Gold Medalist Greg Barton, the V8 takes the 18X hull shape and combines it with a surf ski deck. This design creates a reasonably fast surf ski that is stable enough for almost any sea kayaker to feel completely comfortable. Great for folks looking to work on their technique and progress into less stable, faster surf skis. Additional layups may be available by special order.

High-capacity Venturi drain keeps water out. Additional layups may be available by special order. The fully adjustable footbrace with self adjusting pedals on the V10 will accommodate paddlers from 5'3" to 6'7" in height. Smaller paddlers should try the V10L, which has a lower front deck for decreased windage and a seat position ideal for smaller paddlers. The V10L footbraces will accommodate a paddler from 4'1" to 6'3" in height. V10 Sport is a wider, more stable version of the V10 that accommodates paddlers from 5'0" to 6'7" in height.

Bow and stern hatch openings, deck bungees, Venturi drain. Optional kick-up overstern rudder can be added. Meets USCA Fast Sea Kayak spec. Fits paddlers up to about 260 lbs.
