"Freshwater Guides of New England" Massachusetts Eastern Region
The "Freshwater Guides of New England" series has gained critical acclaim, and for good reason! Combine detailed information about the lake, river, or pond, including size, depth, current management status, and physical description, with a map, description of fish species and recommended lures, access points, level of shoreline development, and directions, and you've got one information-packed guidebook.

We carry the Massachusetts Eastern Region edition, which covers more than 50 bodies of water in towns north and west of Boston. Visit our shop and see for yourself what this amazing book has to offer.

Wilderness Systems Tarpon Fishing Kayaks
The Tarpon family of kayaks are the comfortable cruisers of the sit-on-top world. These super-stable boats are available in standard models (fully outfitted with large bow and day hatches, foot braces, deck rigging, side carrying handles, tank well, and a solid seat back) and in the tricked-out Angler versions (with Scotty consoled rod holder, two flush-mounted rod holders, fish-finder mount, paddle holder, molded-in bait bucket contour, molded-in milk crate notches, anchor, and optional rudder). You can even customize the features to fit your fishing style!

The Tarpon is available in three lengths (12, 14, or 16 feet) and is amazingly comfortable. If conditions permit, you can even stand up to cast -- it's that stable! There’s more buzz in kayak-fishing circles about these boats than any other, and for good reason -- they're made specifically for fishing and are equally at home on calm lakes or the ocean.

Native Watercraft Ultimate Fishing Kayaks
Native Watercraft produces innovative canoe/kayak hybrids that are open-decked, much like a canoe, but are designed to be paddled with a double-bladed (kayak) paddle.

We are carrying three sizes in the Ultimate Series. The Ultimate 12.5 is strictly a solo boat and comes with a skeg for improved tracking in windy and wavy conditions. The Ultimate 14.5 can be paddled either as a solo or a tandem and offers more speed and cargo room. The Ultimate 16 can also be paddled solo but works great as a tandem, with even more room for paddlers and gear.

The Ultimates are constructed of rugged polyethylene and incorporate many innovative design features, like the "tunnel hull" for stability, elbow pads for comfort, and a great seat that can be removed for use as a camp chair. The Ultimates are great for fishermen (it's possible to stand-cast — see the photo of the Ultimate 12.5 above) but also a fast and efficient boat for everyone.

Liquid Logic Manta Ray Fishing Kayaks
When Liquid Logic sat down to design their first sit-on-top, they wanted to create a kayak specifically for fishermen. If you're looking for a stable, dry ride, fast hull speed, and maneuverability, the Manta Ray is the kayak for you. Plus, with plenty of flat space on the boat, you can outfit with fishing gear to your heart's content! With a waterproof bow hatch, spots for six flush-mounted rod holders and one Scotty-mount rod holder, GPS or fish finder, tons of storage, and molded space for a milk crate or 5-gallon bucket in the rear tank, this is the rig of your dreams.

The Manta Ray comes in two sizes, 12' and 14', and is designed to be paddled everywhere from flatwater lakes to class III whitewater to open ocean. I tried it, and found it super-stable and very maneuverable, with a very comfortable seat. Come down and try out this brand new boat!

Wilderness Systems Pungo Angler Fishing Kayaks
The Pungo family of kayaks is the best-selling kayak ever made, because they are stable, comfy, and have plenty of cockpit room. Why not offer them in Angler versions?

Available in two lengths, Pungo 120 Angler (12’) or Pungo 140 Angler (14’), each boat is set up with dry storage, anchor, Scotty rod holder, flush mounted rod holder, paddle holder, and of course the most-comfortable-on-the-market Phase3 seat. Again, you can always customize it! Or, for an even more open fishing platform, consider the Tarpon sit-on-tops featured above.

Ocean Kayak Prowler Fishing Kayaks
The Prowler family of sit-on-top angler kayaks offer a stable fishing platform with room for all your gear. The angler versions have two flush-mounted rod holders and an integrated tackle box, stern tank well, protected front storage hatch, and paddle holders.

Enjoy the new Prowler 13 (13'4") on calm lakes and rivers, or take the original Prowler (15'4') out on the ocean. Either way, there's a Prowler for your size and fishing preferences.
